[01] WHAT IS ALPHAPLACE?
AlphaPlace is a Minecraft Alpha server dedicated to player nostalgia, running since April 7th, 2019. We have been using our current world for over 1,785 days.


The server is joinable from Alpha v1.2.6 using our custom mpmod (recommended for fixes). Alternatively, you can join with vanilla Beta 1.1_02.
[02] CONNECTION PROTOCOLSTEP 1: GET LAUNCHER & FILES
// Download a launcher: MultiMC (Recommended) or Betacraft.
// Go to our Downloads Page.
// Download the AlphaPlace Client & mpmod.
STEP 2: INSTALL THE MOD (MultiMC)
01. Make sure your game is closed.
02. Right-click your b1.1_02 instance -> "Edit Instance".
03. Go to the "Version" tab on the left.
04. Click "Add to minecraft.jar" on the right.
05. Select the downloaded mod file.
STEP 3: INITIALIZE CONNECTION
Launch the game and connect to: alphaplace.net

[03] SYSTEM FIXES (CRASH / SKINS / SOUNDS)⚠️ MANDATORY JAVA ARGUMENTS
If your game crashes or skins/sounds are broken, you must apply these arguments in MultiMC (Settings -> Java Arguments) before launching:

-Djava.util.Arrays.useLegacyMergeSort=true -Dhttp.proxyHost=betacraft.uk -Dhttp.proxyPort=11705
